Grand-Gulf Raymond Scenic Byway

Begin your drive on Grand-Gulf road near the banks of the Mighty Mississippi River. A great first stop is the Grand Gulf Military Monument, a site dedicated to the Civil War, which displays artifacts from the war as well as history and information about the area. From the river, head east through the small town of Port Gibson to MS-18. Follow Route 18 through lands that were once battle grounds and you can still see signs of the war. The drive comes to an end in Raymond, Mississippi, home to Civil War re-enactments as well as many historic sites and buildings.
