Upper Peninsula

Take a drive along the coast of Lake Michigan on Route 2 on the Upper Peninsula. The views of lake alone are worth the drive, but there are plenty of other attractions to enjoy along the way, state parks, lakes, and Hiawatha National Forest are among them. These attractions offer various camping, hiking, and sight-seeing opportunities. Start your drive in the town of Escanaba, Michigan and drive the shores of the lake for over 150 miles to the town of De Tour Village. If you are still looking for more, you can take the ferry from town across the channel to Drummond Island, as well.
