Modern travel has made the road trip a thing of the past, we are trying to change that.
Road Tripping America is a blog written by two friends inspired by the open road from a very young age. We started travelling together when we turned sixteen and over a decade later we are still at it. We started out with day trips and moved to multi-day trips, and in 2008 we took our first cross-country trip from Columbus, Ohio to Los Angeles, California, and then again in 2009. Our last trip, May 2010, took us to the deserts and red rocks of southern Utah, through Las Vegas, and into Yosemite National Park, before taking us down the Pacific Coast Highway from Santa Cruz to LA.
Over time we plan to document and share our stories, as well as share pictures and videos from the road. We will review attractions, hotels, and restaurants along the way, and give the most accurate and helpful information to plan your next road trip.
When we aren’t on the road, we are both avid disc golfers and enjoy hiking, camping, and photography.
Feel free to contact us with any route recommendations, roadside attractions, or if you have a specific place you would like reviewed. If you have any questions ask away and we will do our best to get you the information you need.
